Steps to Change the Germkill Kit (GKK)
1. Preparation:
o Empty water from the top and transparent chamber completely.
2. Replace the Activated Carbon Trap:
o Remove the top cover to access the Activated Carbon Trap.
o Rotate the Activated Carbon Trap anti-clockwise and remove it.
o Insert the new Activated Carbon Trap, rotate clockwise, and replace the top cover.
3. Replace the Germkill Processor:
o Remove the Germkill life indicator cover.
o Take out the old Germkill processor.
o Insert the new Germkill processor and push to ensure tightness.
o Refit the Germkill life indicator cover.
4. Replace the Polisher:
o Remove the top and batching chamber and place them in a clean area.
o Wash hands thoroughly.
o Remove the wing nut by turning it anti-clockwise.
o Remove the transparent chamber.
o Turn the lid anti-clockwise to access the Polisher assembly.
o Remove the base nut by turning it anti-clockwise.
o Remove the old Polisher and insert the new one, ensuring the side labeled “This side up” is correctly positioned.
o Tighten the base nut completely.
o Insert the Polisher assembly and rotate the lid to lock it.
5. Reassemble the Unit:
o Place the transparent chamber and tighten the wing nut.
o Reattach the top and batching chamber on the transparent chamber.
6. Final Steps:
o Fill the top chamber with water till the brim.
o Discard the first two cycles of water that collect in the transparent chamber.
Result:
Your Pureit system is now ready for use.
