For Generators;
A generator is a big investment and many set up ATS panel for those too. Even after all those investments, when a power failure happens after a long time, the generator won’t start as the generator battery is dead. So the whole system becomes a waste. Usually we are required to check the battery constantly or start the generator one in a while to make sure the battery is charged and is on working condition. As a solution to this problem, if you connect and keep this battery charger, it’ll automatically charge the battery periodically as needed and automatically stop when it is fully charged without the battery getting overcharged.
Another additional option also available to save power further, but sold separately. A program timer could be set for this battery charger to work on pre-set time schedules. So the charger will work only during the set times each day, and it will check the battery charge as usual and charge automatically only if required.
Eg: 1hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening per day.
As Vehicles Chargers;
When you try to start your vehicle after a long time of not using, it would not start sometimes as the electronics might have used up the battery, or the battery could be weak as it is bit old. By using this device, you don’t have to go through the trouble of removing the battery and replacing it. You don’t even need to remove the terminals to charge the car battery. You can simply connect it as it is and charge the battery quickly within 15mins to a level where you can start the vehicle.
DVR battery backup;
When using UPS as a power backup for DVRs during power failures, it doesn’t last long. And also the UPS battery gets weak real quick and stops lasting. So instead, you can use a car battery (for example 30A/65A/90A) with this battery charger, and connect to the DVR via an inverter. ATS system can be set up for this method too (Devices available, sold separately). By this method you can make a 16 channel DVR usually last longer than 8 hours.

Charging operation:
Step 1, Examine and make sure rated voltage of battery is conforming to output voltage of charger.
Step 2, Connect correctly the charger and the battery.
Step 3, Examine and make sure mains supply voltage is conforming to input voltage of the charger.
Step 4, Connect mains supply and the battery, watch to see if the indicator is on and the cooling fan is working when charging.
Step 5, if the charger refuse to work, turn off mains supply immediately and check all the connecting cables between mains supply, the battery and the charger.
