Senior Stores Executive
We are a leading hardware items distribution company based in Kiribathgoda, dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Stores Executive to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and delivering/receiving.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate handling of goods.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and address any issues that arise.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance and inventory status.
• Manage the procurement of warehouse supplies and equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in a hardware distribution environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
• Good understanding of safety and compliance regulations.
• Strong communication skills in both Sinhala and English.
