Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the best terms and conditions.
• Create and manage purchase orders for hardware items, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about market trends and pricing.
• Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations, coordinating with the logistics team.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including orders, contracts, and supplier details.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, inventory status, and supplier performance.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement, preferably within the hardware items distribution industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
