The Ceylon Academy of Gemmological Science is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Executive with strong communication, customer-handling, and conversion skills to join our team.
Candidates with a background in counselling or psychology and a passion for student engagement are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls while providing accurate programme information to students.
Convert inquiries into registrations and enrolments through persuasive communication.
Build strong relationships with potential students.
Manage walk-in inquiries and deliver professional customer service.
Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and digital outreach activities.
Maintain enquiry records, follow-up pipelines, and report on conversions.
Represent the academy at education fairs, events, and awareness programmes.
Assist in developing marketing content, coordination, and branding activities.
Candidate Profile
Experience in sales, marketing, student counselling, or customer relations.
A background in counselling or psychology (preferred).
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Strong conversion skills and the ability to persuade and build trust.
Friendly, patient, and energetic personality with good listening skills.
Ability to handle customer queries with professionalism and empathy.
Computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or lead-tracking tools (an added advantage).
