This Mini John Cooper LE 40 was first registered on 4 November 1999 and is understood to be one of only 300 examples produced.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
Launched in 1999, the Mini John Cooper LE 40 was produced as a tribute to four decades of the Mini, and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Cooper F1 World Championship. The special-edition model featured a full leather interior, rally-style front spotlights, 13-inch Sportspack alloy wheels, and a machine-turned aluminium dashboard with magnolia-faced dials.
As with all John Cooper LE 40 models, this example is finished with a Open top Sunroof and contrasting Old English White roof, door mirrors, and twin bonnet stripes
It rides on a set of 13-inch alloy wheels, shod in new Nankang A3-1 tyres.
Equipment includes a heated rear screen, a black leather-trimmed steering wheel, push-out rear quarter light windows, a Mini-branded CD stereo, heater and ventilation controls, and drilled aluminium door card furniture.
