Diamond Steel Fabrications is a growing steel fabrication company equipped with modern machinery. We are looking for a competent and hands-on Engineer to manage and support our fabrication workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the steel fabrication workshop
Plan and supervise production involving CNC laser cutting, lathe, milling, rolling, bending, and welding
Read, interpret, and prepare engineering drawings
Optimize production processes for efficiency, accuracy, and cost control
Ensure quality standards, safety procedures, and machine maintenance
Coordinate with operators, technicians, and management
Assist in process improvements and new machine integration
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2–5 years experience in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment
Practical knowledge of CNC laser cutting machines and conventional machines (lathe, milling, bending, rolling)
Ability to handle shop-floor issues and lead workers
Familiarity with AutoCAD / SolidWorks (preferred)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in heavy fabrication or machinery manufacturing
Knowledge of material optimization and nesting for CNC laser cutting
Exposure to quality control and production planning
