Lanka Hospitals Academy will award the Higher National Diploma in General Nursing upon successful completion of the three-year program. Students will follow the NVQ Level 6 Nursing curriculum approved by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC). Consequently, upon course completion, students will receive the internationally recognized NVQ Level 06 Nursing Qualification from TVEC. This comprehensive training program equips students to become qualified general nurses, eligible to join any private hospital. The first year covers fundamental nursing principles, introductory subjects, and practical training. In the subsequent two years, students explore into advanced nursing procedures through clinical and practical training at Lanka Hospitals.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Height – Minimum 4’10”
Passed the G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination including English Language or certificate for English language or
Passed NVQ level 4 in Nursing/ GCE Advanced Level.
COURSE DURATION
3 years, Theory from 8 A.M. – 4 P.M. and Practical hours may vary.
