Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for Australian clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely bookkeeping records using Xero.
- Reconcile accounts and manage bank feeds.
- Process payroll and superannuation for clients.
- Liaise with clients and address their queries related to financial reports and tax matters.
- Assist in other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in accounting roles, with proven experience using Xero software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA qualification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Xero and MS Excel. Familiarity with Australian tax laws and regulations is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Excellent written and spoken English.
- Work Environment: Access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace for remote work.
