"Heavenly Garden Tree" , in JP titled "Tendo Enju" is described as a work that evokes the scene where Shakyamuni Buddha delivered his final sermon to bodhisattvas and gods in the heavenly realm before his descent to the human world.
This is interpreted as a depiction of a fantastical world view inspired by the "sermon in Tusita Heaven" described in Buddhist scriptures.
