Tropic Marin Iodine 50ml Essential trace element for the inhabitants of the sea
Iodine is one of the most important trace elements found in natural seawater, and it plays a vital role in various processes. It helps prevent goiter as a key component of thyroid hormone and is crucial for the hardening of the exoskeleton in crustaceans. Coralline red algae and gorgonians utilize iodine in their structures, helping to create a healthy marine environment.
In a saltwater aquarium, natural replenishment of trace elements such as iodine is not guaranteed. Therefore, it is essential to add iodine regularly to support the health of your marine life. Studies have shown that Tropic Marin® IOD enhances the adaptation to light and improves the coloration of anthozoa, particularly hard corals. This product contains iodine in its most effective form, as elementary I2 in a Lugol’s solution.
Benefits:
Lugol’s solution designed for saltwater aquaria
Essential trace element for sea dwellers
Enhances adaptation to light and improves the coloration of anthozoa, especially hard corals
How to use:
Add one drop of Tropic Marin® IOD for every 200 liters of aquarium system water daily, ensuring it is added to the circulation flow. If you happen to miss a dosage, simply skip that day and do not combine doses to make up for it. Remember, as the population density in the aquarium increases, the demand for iodine will also rise, and you may need to increase the dosage accordingly, up to the maximum limit outlined below.
Maximum dosage: Do not exceed two drops per 200 liters of aquarium system water volume each day. Additionally, please store Tropic Marin® IOD in a dark place to maintain its effectiveness.
