Role Description
Purchasing officers source and buy materials, goods, and services on behalf of the employer to be resold or used in daily operations. Purchasing officers maintain stock levels, and may also conduct research, negotiate with vendors, and interview prospective suppliers.
Responsibilities
Act as a Company reprehensive while negotiating contracts and supplier policies
Plan and order the raw material & ensure materials are received on time
Managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for production and customer orders.
Coordinating inventory tracking and analysis to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Maintain relevant report & Records
Assisting the Stores & Purchasing Manager in day-to-day operations
Providing support to the team and actively contributing to department goals and targets.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management.
Knowledge of ERP System and Microsoft Office is a must.
Analytical and problem- solving Skills.
Staff Management Skills and leadership skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
