HR Executive – Payroll Management
A leading hardware items distribution company situated in Makola, Kiribathgoda is looking for a dynamic candidate to our HR department for the post HR Executive.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records using HRIS to manage employee data.
• Handling statutory compliances such as payroll, EPF/ETF, gratuity, leave, etc.
• Handling employee queries and promoting a positive and productive workplace culture.
• Liaise with department/unit heads and manage leave and attendance of employees and maintain records.
• Must be able to manage multiple payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time.
• Capability to address & resolve issues that arise in payroll processing or in the management of payroll operations.
• Ability to analyse data and reports for accurately forecast payroll expenses and prepare financial reports.
• Liaise with 3rd party person/ organizations when necessary
Required skills and knowledge
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and leadership to achieve organizational objectives.
• Full/ Part professional/academic qualifications in HR management.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Be honest and maintain confidentiality of the information
• Strong public relations and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform with minimum supervision
• Proficiency in payroll software and familiarity with HRIS will be an added advantage.
• thorough knowledge of payroll process including taxation, benefits and compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to assign and dedicate task
