Grip Business Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a dynamic leader in providing business solutions to its clients in the United Kingdom, seeks a proactive HR Executive to join its back-office team based in Colombo 01.
ABOUT US:
Grip Business Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is a fast-growing UK based accountancy practice back-office. We handle the payroll, bookkeeping, accounts production, and tax returns for UK based small/medium scale businesses via our parent company, Grip Business Consultancy Ltd. We offer structured training, UK systems exposure, and a clear career development pathway for the ideal candidates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage weekly/monthly payroll tasks of our clients - sending weekly payslips, managing holiday pay, updating PAYE tax codes and payables.
• Manage pensions - enroling employees & employers, uploading contributions (NEST/Penfold), and managing pension opt-out workflows.
• Handle on-request tasks - manage statutory maternity pay/allowances, PAYE liability checks/penalties applicable, draft employment contracts/letters.
• Prepare & maintain internal HR records - keep records of attendance, holidays, overtimes, and all other payroll information of the internal staff at Grip Business Lanka, and furnish reports to the top management on demand.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field will be ideal.
• Good knowledge of UK labour laws and proficiency in HR software (e.g., Payroll Manager, Penfold) would be an added advantage, though not mandatory.
• Good computer literacy (MS Excel, Google Workspace Apps, UK payroll software) would be desirable.
• Maintain proper working records and follow internal SOPs for training purposes.
• Excellent spoken & written skills in English are mandatory.
• Communicate with UK based business clients with professionalism via email/WhatsApp on a regular basis.
• A good attention to detail, ability to multitask independently, and meet deadlines is expected.
