Job Title: Baker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to prepare a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts. The ideal candidate has a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a wide range of products such as breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or specifications
Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistency and quality
Decorate baked goods using icing, glazes, and other toppings
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking equipment
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Manage inventory and report ingredient shortages
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Baker or similar role
Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
Familiarity with kitchen equipment (mixers, ovens, etc.)
Ability to follow recipes accurately and work independently
Strong time management and organizational skills
Attention to detail and creativity in presentation
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary or baking certification
Experience in a commercial bakery or restaurant setting
Working Conditions:
Early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
