The device is equipped with a PIR sensor, capable of detecting motion within an 8-foot range at a 120-degree angle. When motion is detected, it emits a powerful sound mix exceeding 100dB, effectively repelling polecats, rats, civets, and mongooses. The sound frequencies deter these animals from nesting or staying in the area.
This device is particularly useful for protecting vehicles from rats. While the sound frequencies are harmless to humans and other animals, part of the mix may be audible to human ears. It is advised to use the device without causing disturbance to people or surrounding areas.
In addition to repelling animals, the device also functions as a sensor-based security alarm. Upon detecting human movement, such as a burglar, it emits a loud sound (over 100dB), helping to alert and repel intruders.
