Yelo is a leading distribution company with operations in the key regions of Ratnapura, Pelmadulla, Horana and Ruwanwella. As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our finance team at our corporate office in Kegalle. We are seeking highly motivated, results-driven professionals with a proven track record of success to join our finance team and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and update daily accounting transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice checking and reconciliations.
• Handle monthly payroll processing, including EPF/ETF contributions, allowances, and deductions.
• Prepare and submit statutory tax files such as VAT, PAYE, and Corporate Tax.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Monitor cash flow, bank activities, and POS settlement processes.
• Oversee inventory control and cost accounting for all outlets.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Improve financial workflows and support system enhancements.
Requirements:
• A degree or recognized professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, CA preferred).
• 2–3 years of practical accounting experience (experience in the FMCG Distribution sector is an added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tax regulations and statutory obligations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• High level of analytical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
