The Hiking DDS238-7 WiFi is a WiFi-enabled IVAP multifunction smart protective energy meter, designed to accurately measure active energy consumption in a 3-phase, 4-wire AC electrical system.
With the DDS238-7, you gain complete control over your power usage. The meter can be monitored and remotely configured via the TUYA or Smart Life app over its Wi-Fi network, providing real-time insights and convenience from anywhere. All functions comply with the technical requirements for Class 1 three-phase watt-hour meters (IEC62053-21), and data communication follows IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards.
The DDS238-7 is engineered for long life, high stability, and strong overload capacity, while maintaining low power loss and minimal self-consumption. Its compact, lightweight design ensures reliable operation and easy installation even in limited spaces. Unlike some metering circuit breakers, this TUYA WiFi energy meter continues updating kWh data even when disconnected from Wi-Fi.
The meter features an LCD display with real-time readings of voltage, current, active and reactive power, power factor, frequency, and total energy (kWh), along with hours/date/month/year history logs exportable via Excel over email. It can measure each phase independently, indicating phase loss while continuing to monitor the remaining phases. The TUYA app provides remote ON/OFF control, total active energy monitoring, R.M.S current and voltage readings, active power, and integration with other TUYA-compatible devices such as smart sockets, LEDs, and fans. Additional functions include timer control, delay cut-off, and fully configurable onboard protection for overvoltages, undervoltages, overcurrent, overloads, phase loss, and phase sequence anomalies.
