Senior Executive - Supply Chain

This is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Executive – Supply Chain at Artisans HK Pvt Ltd in Kelaniya. The Senior

Executive – Supply Chain will be responsible for handling Logistics related tasks, coordinating with government

authorities such as BOI, Customs etc, obtaining relevant license, following up imports and exports shipments and

other tasks of Supply Chain and Commercials Department.

Key Responsibilities

• End to end management of all activities related to the import of shipments and export of shipments.

• Dealing with regulatory departments like BOI, customs, Govt Departments to obtain permits, approvals and

required permissions for imports and exports.

• Reporting all shipment updates to the customer located overseas on a scheduled basis as per customer

format and requirement.

• Liaising with company nominated freight forwarder and customer nominated freight forwarder to obtain the

best possible quotes, arrange shipments and obtain updates on shipments. Negotiate rates and routes.

• Liaising with suppliers to ensure shipments are ready for handover and making sure the required

documentation is available as required for both import and export.

• Process improvement and streamlining of commercial operations.

• Ensure all production related reporting is completed and shared with key stakeholders in a timely manner.

In addition to the above, the role involves liaising with production plants and 3P companies in order to achieve the

DIFOT.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in the field of Commercial and Logistics industry of at least 5 years. Qualification in Supply

Chain / Logistics / Shipping is mandatory.

• Experience in working in a diverse team as well as working with overseas customers.

• Experience in working with freight forwarders, negotiating incoterms, planning shipments, Prior experience

in manufacturing and import / export would be an added advantage.

• Experience on working with Bonded Warehouses and 3P companies are considered as a plus.

• Analytical and solution driven with a strategic mindset, yet capable of providing sound direction to execute

day to day operations.

• Experience in handling BOI, Customs freight forwarders & courier company procedures and a good

understanding of Incoterms 2010
