⚙ Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the recovery team to achieve and exceed monthly KPIs
- Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to improve portfolio performance
- Monitor delinquency trends, identify risks, and take timely corrective action
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical collection practices
- Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews
- Strengthen negotiation standards and customer engagement processes
- Prepare and present recovery performance reports to senior management
- Collaborate with credit, operations, and customer service teams to improve recovery outcomes
🎯 Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in loan recovery or credit collections
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Proven track record of achieving aggressive recovery targets
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Sinhala and English (Tamil is an added advantage)
- Solid understanding of recovery regulations, credit procedures, and collection frameworks
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with loan management or CRM systems preferred
