Receptionist
We are looking for a friendly and professional receptionist to join our guest house.
Applicants must have sat for the A/L exam and possess good spoken English skills.
Basic computer skills are also required to handle bookings and other guest-related tasks.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working flexible shifts, including both day and night shifts.
Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory.
In this role, you will handle guest inquiries, manage reservations, and ensure a seamless booking experience. Your focus will be on maximizing room occupancy, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records of all reservations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a prompt and professional manner.
• Manage and update reservation systems with accurate information on bookings, cancellations, and amendments.
• Provide guests with details about room availability, rates, and services offered by the hotel.
• Process individual and group reservations, ensuring all relevant details are accurately recorded.
• Coordinate with the front desk and other hotel departments to ensure special guest requests are fulfilled.
• Maximize room occupancy by offering available options and upselling premium rooms or services.
• Handle payment details and deposit requests in accordance with hotel policies.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests, ensuring a positive experience.

• make sure the Rooms are well cleaned and ready for check-ins and check the rooms after checkouts.
• Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, promotions, and local area information to assist guests effectively.
Salary: LKR 35,000-50,000 per month.
