Our Client company is one of the oldest and most successful Footwear manufacturers in Sri Lanka, looking for a experienced merchandiser to join their process.

Company: Footwear Ltd (major shoe brand in Sri Lanka)

Location: Ratmalana (onsite)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving our retail and wholesale operations by:

Market Analysis: Analysing market trends, consumer preferences, and sales data to select the most suitable merchandise for our offerings.

Supplier Relationships: Identifying, establishing, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to effectively source products.

Negotiation: Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favourable deals and optimize costs.

Collaboration: Working closely with the marketing team to align product assortments with promotional strategies while monitoring stock levels to meet customer demand.

Qualifications:

A Degree/Diploma in Merchandising or Marketing (SLIM/CIM/BCCT) with strong computer literacy.

2-3 years of experience in Marketing or Merchandising.

Excellent command of English, coupled with strong analytical and presentation skills.

Age between 24-35 years.

Salary: Starting at LKR 75,000 or above, commensurate with experience.
