A responsible Manager – Marketing & Events for planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies and event initiatives to enhance the hotel's brand presence, drive revenue growth, increase occupancy, and ensure successful execution of corporate and social events.
Working Hours: Will be discussed during the interview
Salary & Benefits: LKR 170,000
Service Charge: Approx. LKR 35,000 – 45,000
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote hotel services, facilities, and special offers
• Plan, coordinate, and manage corporate events, conferences, weddings, and other functions
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to increase hotel revenue
• Manage digital marketing activities, social media platforms, and promotional campaigns
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure successful event execution
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
• Prepare and manage marketing and event budgets
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, media partners, and vendors
• Track marketing campaign performance and prepare management reports
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and promotional materials
Qualifications:
• Male or Female candidate, around 40 years of age (±)
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Marketing, Events Management, or a similar managerial role
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry will be a distinct advantage
• Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, event planning, and business development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms
• Results-oriented with strong commercial awareness
• Candidates residing in close proximity to the hotel location will be given preference
