【~】✪ BSc or Degree equivalent in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Business administration or business management
【~】✪ Good IT knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PPT)
【~】✪ Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in retail or similar capacity
【~】✪ Minimum of 2 years in a management position-
【~】✪ Experience in working under pressure.
【~】✪ Familiarity with vendor Management
【~】✪ Working knowledge in both oral and written to compliment the effectiveness of the job role.
【~】✪ Consistency and accuracy and be proactive for timely actions, initiatives to prevent disruptions to the workflow of the operation – HO and the Outlets

【~】✪ To manage and assist all distribution center functions
【~】✪ To work in partnership with Supply Chain team & specialists in support Centre to add value to the chain
【~】✪ Understand business requirements, agreeing corrective action and following through all improvements required
【~】✪ Administer KPI’s and report, continually seek to improve service levels, KPI performance and cost effectiveness
【~】✪ Manage budgets efficiently
【~】✪ Liaise with required teams for support
【~】✪ Ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner
【~】✪ Ensure a smooth and efficient operation between SPAR and DC
【~】✪ Manage all aspects of the 3PL logistics contract day to day and manage all inbound assembly and Outbound activities
【~】✪ Review and analyze contact performance against agreed KPI’s
【~】✪ Contract and business requirements, agreeing corrective action and following through all improvements required
【~】✪ Ensure service levels are maintained in line with the contracted requirements and wider business goals
【~】✪ Administer KPI’s and report, continually seek to improve service levels, KPI performance and cost effectiveness
【~】✪ Identify, implement, manage and measure - to realization - opportunities to control or reduce costs
【~】✪ Monitor the 3PL use of agreed processes, agreeing corrective action where required. Especially in relation to stock file management and integrity
【~】✪ Manage contract budgets
【~】✪ Ensure proper validation of all 3PL invoices, maintain control and report on financial performance of each operation
【~】✪ Ensure all third parties comply with all necessary legislation
【~】✪ Support and communicate with the following functional heads on a regular basis: Logistics Manager, CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Procurement Manager[s] & Operations Manager Co-responsibility for one direct report – GRV Executive
【~】✪ Maintain an effective working relationship with all 3PL operator management teams
【~】✪ Liaise with Store Operations teams to ensure all service challenges are met in the most cost effective and efficient manner and within budget
【~】✪ Work with the Commercial and Finance Manager to minimize risk and financial exposure
【~】✪ Liaise with the procurement team on business requirement and agreeing activity presenting challenges on potential stock issues (FEFO/ near expired stock, expired stock, returns, damages etc.)
【~】✪ Liaise with the Operations team on contribution to the effective operation of the store by managing the 3PL operators to support store operational requirements.
【~】✪ Liaise with the Risk team regarding working with the nominated Group security in charge to deter stock loss whilst maintaining an image of positive and excellent customer service
【~】✪ Liaise with the IT team in order to maintain an effective relationship that will allow an environment of collaborative development to support the development of Supply Chain systems
【~】✪ Manage and support the Receiving Team in place at the Distribution Centre ensuring correct rostering and training for these individuals to cover the business needs
【~】✪ Analyze and maintain accurate receiving procedures
【~】✪ Maintain Stock Security within the Distribution Centre and within the delivery vehicles
【~】✪ Ensure, maintain and follow up on “Drop and Go” delivery system
【~】✪ Ensure a world class service and experience is offered to all SPAR customers
【~】✪ Ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner
【~】✪ Ensure all inbound and outbound activities are managed effectively
【~】✪ Ensure to complete the project within the budgets.
【~】✪ Collaboration with peers to ensure overall company strategy and financial objectives are met.
