Junior Embryologist

Ninewells Hospital (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Embryologist to join our laboratory team in the Reproductive Medicine Unit.

In this role, you will assist in performing laboratory procedures related to assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including gamete and embryo handling, culture preparation, cryopreservation, and embryo thawing, while maintaining the highest laboratory and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily embryology laboratory operations including media preparation and embryo culture.

• Perform or support cryopreservation, thawing, and dish preparation procedures.

• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Support senior embryologists in routine and advanced procedures.

• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and laboratory cleanliness.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biomedical Science, Reproductive Science, or a related field.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise laboratory protocols.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to learn and work flexible hours based on lab requirements.

• Experience in Embryology or a related area will be considered an added advantage.
