The Commi 2 Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and maintaining the high food standards. This role supports Commi 1 by ensuring smooth production of burgers and sides during service and assisting with the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare and cook burgers, chicken, beef patties, and all sides according to Burgers to Mars standards.
Maintain consistency in flavour, portioning, and presentation.
Handle mise en place, cutting, marination, prep, and cooking responsibilities.
Section Operations
Work under the guidance of Commi 1 to run the burger & sides section efficiently.
Set up the workstation before service and replenish ingredients as needed.
Assist Commi 1 in ensuring all orders are completed on time.
Quality, Safety & Hygiene
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards strictly.
Ensure proper ingredient storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO).
Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean throughout operations.
Teamwork & Communication
Communicate closely with Commi 1, service crew, and the kitchen team.
Inform Commi 1 about stock shortages, equipment issues, or delays.
Assist in training Commi 3 staff in basic prep and station duties when required.
