We are a luxury boutique hotel in Thalawa seeking a skilled and passionate Cook. You should be experienced in preparing both Sri Lankan and Western style dishes, with attention to quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook authentic Sri Lankan and Western dishes
• Plan daily menus and assist with menu development
• Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to hotel standards
• Work closely with management to meet guest expectations
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef (hotel or restaurant experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan and Western cooking techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to speak English at a reasonable level is an advantage
