CASHIER IN-CHARGE
Role
• Supervise daily cashier operations and ensure smooth
billing processes.
• Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately.
• Monitor and reconcile daily cash balances, prepare
cashier reports.
• Train, guide, and support cashier staff.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service during billing and resolve
payment-related queries.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2-3 years of retail cashiering experience; supervisory experience is
an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills in Sinhala / English (Tamil will be an added advantage).
• Knowledge of POS systems/ERP software.
• High integrity, accuracy, and customer-focused mindset.
