Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced cashier to join our children’s book shop team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a solid understanding of point of sale (POS) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the point of sale (POS) system efficiently.
• Process customer transactions, including cash and card payments.
• Ensure accuracy in billing and receipts.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent service.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter.
• Assist in daily closing and sales reporting.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a cashier, preferably in a bookstore or retail environment.
• Proficiency in using point of sale (POS) systems.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
