We are committed to maintaining excellent quality, consistency, and food safety standards. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Bakery Assistant to join our production team.
### Role Overview
The Bakery Assistant will support daily bakery operations, assisting with preparation, baking, packaging, and maintaining hygiene standards. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
### Key Responsibilities
* Assist with preparation and production of baked goods
* Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
* Operate bakery equipment under supervision
* Monitor baking times and product quality
* Assist with cooling, slicing, and packaging of products
* Label products accurately according to company standards
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas and equipment
* Follow food safety and health regulations at all times
* Support stock control and ingredient storage processes
### Requirements
* Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment (preferred but not essential)
* Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
* Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment
* Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual
