About the Role
The Support to General Manager / Senior All-Rounder is a key operational role responsible for
ensuring the smooth running of daily hotel operations. Working closely with the General Manager, you will support guest services, staff coordination, inventory management and problem-solving across all guest-facing areas.
As the second-in-command when the GM is off-site or off-duty, you will represent hotel leadership
with professionalism, confidence, and warmth. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in
boutique hospitality environments, enjoys multitasking, and has a natural instinct for delivering exceptional guest experience.
This is a diverse role, combining front-of-house service, administrative tasks, and hands-on support
across multiple departments. You will play a crucial part in building a positive team culture,
uplifting service standards, and ensuring guests feel cared for throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Front-of-House
• Welcome guests warmly and manage check-ins/outs efficiently.
• Handle guest billing, reservations, and payments accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest queries, requests, and feedback.
• Maintain a calm, solution-focused presence during busy periods.
Operational Support
• Support daily hotel operations alongside the GM.
• Coordinate staff rotas, attendance, and shift changes.
• Assist with logistics, inventory checks, and supplier deliveries.
• Oversee public area standards, ensuring spaces remain clean and inviting.
Staff Coordination & Team Support
• Act as a first point of contact for staff when the GM is unavailable.
• Help train new staff and maintain consistency in service standards.
• Support cross-department teamwork to ensure operational efficiency.
Administration & Reporting
• Assist with documentation, ordering, and operational reporting.
• Maintain accurate records, checklists, and logs.
• Support the GM with daily briefings and follow-ups.

You are highly organised, confident, and guest-focused, with strong communication skills and a
calm, proactive approach. You enjoy working in a hands-on environment where no two days are the
same. You take pride in helping guests feel relaxed, supported, and welcomed.
You should have:
• Previous experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles
• Strong English communication
• The ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Confidence interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds
• High levels of integrity, reliability, and professionalism
