About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Female Assistant Hairdresser to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong foundational skills who is eager to grow by working alongside an experienced head stylist from New Zealand 🇳🇿. You will help ensure smooth daily operations while delivering a high-quality client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform hair washing, blow dries, and basic styling services
• Assist with hair colouring services, including preparation, application support, and aftercare
• Support the head stylist during haircuts and complex colouring techniques
• Prepare clients for services and maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use
• Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all clients
Requirements:
• Female
• Prior salon experience preferred
• Basic skills in blow drying, colouring, and hair care
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate comfortably in English (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
• Willingness to learn and grow under senior stylists
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
