Key Responsibilities:
1.Data Entry:
Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and databases.
Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
2.Transaction Processing:
Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
Ensure all transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
3.Reconciliation:
Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monthly closing procedures.
Verify discrepancies by checking reports, and resolving issues with relevant parties.
4.Reporting:
Prepare regular financial reports, including trial balances and expense reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
5.Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and policies.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
6.Communication:
Liaise with vendors, clients, and other departments regarding financial matters.
Respond to inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
7.Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Maintain filing systems for financial documents.
