Warehouse Assistant

**About Us**

NexGen Cargo is a growing freight and logistics company specialising in cargo services between Australia and Sri Lanka. We're looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse & Logistics Assistant to support our Sri Lanka operations — helping keep shipments moving, customs running smoothly, and our customers well-informed.

**Key responsibilities**

- Prepare and coordinate delivery plans for outbound cargo

- Assist with customs clearance documentation and processes

- Create invoices for customs duties and related charges

- Use the NexGen Cargo system to view and manage bookings

- Carry out general administrative and data entry tasks

- Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and clearing agents

- Support the operations team with day-to-day logistics tasks

**What We're Looking For**

- Comfortable working with computer systems and software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- A proactive, can-do attitude
