Grand Chancellor Kitchens, a well-established and fast-growing premium dining and catering brand, is seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals to join our professional hospitality team.
Position: Waiter / Waitress
Work Location: Grand Chancellor Kitchens – Colombo 6
Key Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and make suitable recommendations
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service
• Serve food and drinks according to company service standards
• Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas at all times
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and requests politely and efficiently
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year experience in a restaurant, hotel, or café environment (preferred)
• Pleasant personality with excellent customer service skills
• Good communication ability in Sinhala and basic English (Tamil is an advantage)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
