Location: Kandy, Sri Lanka
Salary: LKR 80,000-100,000 per month
Hours: 50 hours per week, typically 02.30am -12.30pm 5 days per week on a rota basis

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Vehicle Recovery Dispatcher/Controller with strong English communication abilities to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate dispatch operations, ensuring swift and efficient responses to vehicle recovery requests from English-speaking customers located in the United Kingdom.Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally will be essential in providing top-notch service and maintaining smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispatch Coordination: Schedule and dispatch recovery vehicles, ensuring rapid and effective responses to calls, obtain authorisations from insurance companies, manage and deploy UK based drivers and technicians.
• Customer Communication: Maintain clear, fluent communication in English with drivers and customers, updating on incident/recovery status, estimated arrival times, and any changes.
• GPS Tracking and Monitoring: Utilize GPS and dispatch software to track vehicle locations, update statuses, and manage resources for optimized dispatching.
• Problem-Solving: Handle unexpected challenges (e.g., traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, complaints), providing alternate solutions to minimize customer wait times.
• Documentation and Reporting: Record dispatch activities, prepare daily logs, and monitor performance metrics for accurate reporting.
• Extended Hours Flexibility: Available to work extra hours as needed, including weekends and evenings, to cover high-demand periods.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience: 1-3 years in dispatch, logistics, or customer service.
• English Proficiency: Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills are required for clear interaction with native English-speaking customers.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and basic computer skills.
• Organizational Abilities: Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to independently handle issues and adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or a certification in logistics is a plus.
