ASSISTANT ENGLISH TEACHER
(2 VACANCIES)
YOUR ROLE
• Assist lead teachers in managing the classroom
• Supervise and support students during lessons
• Mark students' work
• Help students develop their reading skills
• Engage students in English conversation
• Encourage a positive and supportive learning environment
REQUIREMENTS
• A genuine love for children and teaching
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
• School leavers and university students are encouraged to apply
• An A Pass in English at Local O/L and A/L examinations will be an added advantage
• No previous experience required
SALARY
Rs. 25,000 – 35,000

YOUR ROLE
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons
• Monitor each student's progress and provide individual support
• Create targeted exercises and learning materials based on students' strengths and weaknesses
• Ensure students remain on track and achieve their academic goals
• Develop learning activities beyond the textbook
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
• Take ownership of student development and achievement
• Support and guide assistant teachers when required
REQUIREMENTS (COMPULSORY)
• Previous teaching experience is compulsory
• An A+ in English at BOTH O/L and A/L examinations is compulsory
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong communication, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to identify learning gaps and provide effective solutions
• Creative and proactive approach to lesson planning
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for student outcomes
• Cambridge syllabus experience is an added advantage
SALARY
Rs. 40,000 – 50,000
