👨🍳 Position
Sous Chef
🍳 Key Responsibilities
🍽️ Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
👨🍳 Supervise and guide kitchen staff to maintain quality and consistency
📋 Ensure proper food preparation, portion control, and presentation
🧹 Maintain hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards
📦 Monitor stock levels and assist with kitchen inventory and ordering
⚡ Ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours
✅ Requirements
👨🍳 4 – 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen
🍴 Experience working in a busy restaurant environment
📊 Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
🧑🤝🧑 Ability to manage and train kitchen staff
⏰ Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
⭐ Additional Advantage
🌍 Experience with Sri Lankan and International cuisine
🍝 Knowledge of Italian dishes such as pasta and lasagna
🎓 Qualifications
📘 Professional culinary training or relevant experience in the hospitality industry will be an advantage
