Looking for a freelance Site Supervisor / Site Engineer for a residential house construction project in Dehiwala (Colombo area).
Scope of Work:
Supervise overall construction from foundation to finishing
Ensure quality of work across all stages (structural, masonry, plastering, tiling, plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, etc.)
Check reinforcement and concrete works in coordination with the structural engineer
Monitor site progress, workmanship, and material usage
Ensure proper alignment, levels, and finishing standards
Coordinate closely with structural engineer, architect, and site workers (mason teams, subcontractors)
Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively
Requirements:
Proven experience in residential house construction (end-to-end)
Good understanding of structural drawings, architectural drawings, and services (MEP)
Ability to manage and guide site workers effectively
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to visit site regularly (daily or few times per week)
Qualifications (Preferred):
Diploma / HND / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
OR highly experienced site supervisor with strong practical knowledge
