Senior Executive/ Executive – Internal Audit – Gold Loan

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine audits of gold loan portfolios, ensuring that physical gold stock balances are

accurately verified and fully aligned with system-generated reports.

• Assess the weight, purity, and overall quality of pledged gold articles, comparing findings with

the original loan-granting values and reporting any deviations or discrepancies.

• Verify compliance with gold loan operational procedures, ensuring that all activities are

executed in accordance with established internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing internal control systems, identifying gaps or weaknesses

and recommending improvements to strengthen operational integrity and risk mitigation.

• Prepare audit reports after each field visit and submit them to the Head of Internal Audit in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed G.C.E. A/L Examination.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in gold loan operations or audit functions.

• Willingness to travel to branches island-wide.

• A positive attitude and a pleasant personality.

• Male candidates are preferred due to operational requirements.
