Position – Restaurant Operations Manager
Responsibilities
* Manage BOH and FOH staff by creating rosters, handling recruitments and implementing guidelines and processes
* Manage daily and weekly purchasing requirements
* Supervise daily operations to ensure exceptional guest experience.
* Work closely with the culinary team to improve menu selections, refine food presentation, and uphold quality standards.
* Oversee reservations, seating plans, and busy service periods to optimize table usage while preserving a comfortable dining environment. This includes monitoring revenue, guest comments, and operational effectiveness, and implementing necessary enhancements.
Requirements
* As an “Operations Manager” we are looking for a person who has a minimum of 5 years of restaurant or hospitality experience in a similar capacity
* The suitable applicant will demonstrate robust leadership and team management capabilities, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, they should be adept at addressing customer concerns professionally.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are also vital. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and restaurant software is expected, as are skills in budgeting and financial oversight.
* Lastly, the capacity to perform effectively under pressure and resolve disagreements is a critical requirement.
