We are an established catering company based in the USA. We are looking for a smart and detail-oriented Business Analyst to help us understand our expenses, sales, pricing, and profitability so we can grow successfully.
Job Responsibilities
✔ Track and analyze all business expenses (ingredients, packaging, labor, delivery, utilities, etc.)
✔ Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
✔ Calculate food cost per meal and profit per menu item
✔ Recommend better pricing strategies to increase profit
✔ Identify waste and suggest cost-saving improvements
✔ Improve business efficiency and kitchen workflow
✔ Create clear financial reports and dashboards
✔ Forecast future costs and profits
✔ Help with budgeting and planning
✔ Analyze vendor pricing and suggest better suppliers
✔ Monitor inventory usage and reduce waste
✔ Work closely with the owner to improve operations
Requirements
✔ Experience as Business Analyst / Cost Analyst / Restaurant Analyst
✔ Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
✔ Experience with accounting or inventory software is a plus
✔ Experience in catering or restaurant industry preferred
✔ Good English communication skills
✔ Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Work Details
✔ Remote work
✔ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Sri Lanka Time). Must be available during these hours – Mandatory.
