Sea Way Hotel, Nilaveli is seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to be the face of our hotel. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing efficient front desk services and ensuring smooth day-to-day front office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional first impression of the hotel.
* Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
* Handle room reservations, cancellations, and booking inquiries.
* Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
* Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
* Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
* Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Requirements:
* G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a hotel front office or customer service role is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills in English, and Tamil/ Sinhala; knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
* Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel management systems is desirable.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
What We Offer:
* Basic salary would be Rs. 45,000/-
* Salary increments based on performance.
* Meals and accommodation will be provided.
* EPF & ETF will be provided after confirmation/ permanent appointment.
* Annual/ Seasonal bonus will be provided.
