Job Vacancy: Production Manager
Janitha Bakers Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Production Manager with a solid background in the bakery industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing bakery operations, ensuring product quality, and leading a team to achieve production goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily production operations, including planning and scheduling to meet demand.
• Ensure all baked goods meet the highest quality and safety standards.
• Manage a team of bakers, decorators, and support staff, providing training and performance management.
• Optimize production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve production workflows.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of raw materials and supplies.
• Prepare and present detailed production reports to senior management.
Requirements:
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Bakery Management, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the bakery industry, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of bakery production processes, including bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
