We are a leading Port Agency Services providing establishment having our clientele over 100 countries around the world.
Looking for Well-organized System oriented Cost-conscious personnel with good sense of negotiation and analysis to assist with the procurement arm of the entity.
# 💠 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 :
【~】✪ Procurement Operations Support
- By Receive and process purchase requisitions, Prepare and issue purchase orders in compliance with company policies and timely updating of records.
【~】✪ Market & Price Monitoring
- Collect market intelligence on prices, goods availability and new suppliers enabling for weekly forecasting.
【~】✪ Supplier chain management
- Liaise with approved suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate rates in order to building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
-Good competency level for vendor evaluation, classification and negotiation.
【~】✪ Cost & Inventory Control Support - Assisting in monitoring procurement budgets by preparing cost analysis sheets for purchases to support bulk discount and rebate negotiations.
【~】✪ Ship Chandelling Coordination
- Coordinate with vessel agents, captains, and operations staff to confirm supply requirements for vessels following the SOP's.
【~】✪ Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement records by ensuring all procurement activities are compliant with company policies, quality standards, and legal requirements.
【~】✪ Risk Management & Issue Resolution
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues and Report any potential supply disruptions or delays immediately to the Manager.
【~】✪ Administrative Support
- Update procurement databases, vendor registries and supplier contact lists regularly and assisting Manager to timely evaluations of supplier performances.
# 💠 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 :
【~】✪ Proficiency in MS Office applications with hands on experience to work with SAP ERP system. This is a compulsory requirement for selection.
【~】✪ Minimum of 2 years of work experience in procurement in similar capacity
【~】✪ Diploma qualification or equivalent level academic / professional
【~】✪ Prior working experience in shipping related sector will be an added advantage for selection.
【~】✪ Proven competency for new vendor sourcing, evaluation, classification and negotiation.
【~】✪ Good sense of bid evaluation comparing quotations in terms of specification, prices, brands and makes.
【~】✪ Good command of English with excellent negotiation and analytical skills
【~】✪ Priority will be given for the candidates who can join immediately/ by short notice period.
【~】✪ Task oriented and committed to meet tough deadlines.
