Dissanayake Restaurant is expanding its culinary team and is now hiring a skilled and creative Bakery & Pastry Chef. We are looking for someone with a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to craft delicious breads, pastries, and desserts that delight our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Develop new and innovative bakery and dessert items.
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met.
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in the bakery area.
Manage ingredient inventory and assist in cost control.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bakery or Pastry Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or bakery.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Creativity and passion for producing visually appealing and tasty products.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
Culinary or baking certification will be an added advantage.
