Position: Operations Manager
Location: Negombo
Responsibilities:
1.Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the dry fish packing factory.
2.Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
3.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and manage inventory levels effectively.
4.Lead and motivate production staff to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
5.Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet customer demands.
6.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for food safety and hygiene.
7.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce production costs.
8.Collaborate with other departments such as sales, logistics, and quality control to achieve company goals.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
2.Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a food manufacturing or packaging environment.
3.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
4.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
5.Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and quality control processes.
6.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to food production and safety.
7.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
8.Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
