Key Responsibilities
Pantry & Refreshment Management
• Prepare and serve water, tea, and coffee to staff, management, and visitors promptly upon arrival.
• Monitor senior management's hydration levels and refill water carafes throughout the day.
• Maintain the pantry in an organized manner, ensuring all food items are stored in airtight containers and checking expiry dates weekly.
• Ensure the kitchen is stocked with essentials (hand soap, detergent, tissues, tea/coffee supplies) and report low stock to HR/Admin.
Hospitality & Guest Relations
• Act as the first point of contact for guests; greet visitors courteously and inform the relevant staff members of their arrival.
• Serve refreshments to guests using professional standards (clean trays, cups, and napkins).
• Proactively clear used utensils and glassware from meeting rooms and common areas immediately after use.
Cleanliness & Maintenance
• Perform daily sanitization of high-touch surfaces and ensure desks, tables, and glass doors are kept dust-free.
• Manage waste disposal by emptying dustbins daily across all office areas.
• Maintain a pristine pantry environment: washing all dishes (ensuring they are residue-free and dry), wiping counters/sinks after lunch and at EOD.
• Clean office appliances (kettle, microwave, fridge) and wash kitchen linens at least twice weekly.
General Office Support
• Ensure all meeting rooms and reception areas are tidy and prepared for use at all times.
• Assist staff and management with meal arrangements when required.
• Conduct end-of-day closing activities, including turning off appliances (kettle/microwave) and securing the pantry.
• Report any maintenance issues such as leaks, broken furniture, or electrical faults to HR/Admin immediately.
Requirements
• Punctuality: Ability to arrive before office hours to ensure the environment is ready for staff.
• Hygiene Standards: Strong commitment to personal grooming and food safety protocols.
• Communication: Polite and respectful verbal communication; ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow a checklist (SOP) to ensure no task is overlooked.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of performing active cleaning and movement-based tasks throughout the shift.
Working Conditions
The role requires working on-site and involves manual tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, and lifting light office supplies. The employee is expected to adhere to the office schedule and maintain a clean, professional attire at all times.
