💼 POSITION : Mechanical Foreman
📍 Location: Factory (Ekala)
💠 REQUIREMENTS :
NVQ Level 4 or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role.
Experience in maintaining industrial plant machinery, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.

Experience in leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing or processing environment is preferred.
Ability to supervise and manage maintenance teams effectively.
Strong planning, organizing, and work scheduling skills.
Ability to diagnose complex mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
💠 RESPONSIBILITIES :
Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical maintenance activities of the plant.
Lead and guide fitters, welders, technicians, and contractors to ensure maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.
Attend machine breakdowns and coordinate immediate corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Ensure daily maintenance checklists, job cards, and maintenance records are properly completed and updated.
Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for reliability improvement.
Coordinate plant shutdown maintenance activities and equipment overhauls.
Ensure availability and proper utilization of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Train mechanical fitters to improve technical competency and performance.
Engage with production and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Enforce industrial safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and housekeeping standards.
