Are you a technically skilled and experienced Mechanical professional looking for an opportunity in a well-established manufacturing environment?
We are looking for a competent and technically skilled Mechanical Executive to join our Engineering Department, supporting production machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance activities.
✨ What You'll Do:
✔ Carry out preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance of production machinery
✔ Identify machine faults and perform troubleshooting, dismantling, repair, alignment and re-assembly
✔ Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and associated electrical systems of industrial machinery
✔ Conduct technical inspections and condition assessments of machinery and equipment
✔ Work with pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, valves, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
✔ Carry out welding, fabrication, fitting and workshop maintenance activities
✔ Read and understand mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and electrical schematics
✔ Ensure maintenance activities are carried out according to safety requirements and 5S practices
✔ Support smooth and uninterrupted production through effective maintenance activities
🎯 What We're Looking For:
🔹 Diploma in NDT / equivalent technical qualification
🔹 NVQ Level 5 or above in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter or a relevant technical field
🔹 Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial experience in machine maintenance and repair
🔹 Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to industrial machinery
🔹 Practical experience in preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance
🔹 Knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, valves, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
🔹 Basic knowledge of electrical control circuits, contactors, relays, sensors, overloads and motor controls
🔹 Knowledge of welding, fabrication, fitting and workshop maintenance practices
🔹 Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, food or similar industrial environments will be an added advantage
🔹 Good problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
